Indoor, outdoor and curved stair lifts, plus wheelchair elevator VPL vertical platform porch lifts for homes and mobile homes — from Bruno, Harmar, Savaria, AccessBDD and Mac's, installed by Electropedic.
Four ways to get up and get going. Pick your stairway — Electropedic does the rest.
The most popular way to stay in the home you love. A slim rail mounts to the stair treads — not the wall — and the chair folds away when you're done.
Bruno builds its stair lifts in the USA and backs indoor models with a limited lifetime warranty. The Elan is the value-minded straight-rail choice at 300 lb., while the Elite steps up to 400 lb. with premium comfort. Both run on batteries, so they keep working for several trips even when the power goes out.
Harmar's Pinnacle family covers every rider on a straight staircase. The SL300 is a clean, dependable everyday lift; the SL600 adds premium touches and folds to just 10.5 inches to keep the stairway open for everyone else; and the SL600HD is the heavy-duty bariatric model, rated to 600 lb.
HomeGlide is AccessBDD's answer for simplicity: a straight-staircase lift designed for quick installation, so you can be riding sooner. Step up to the HomeGlide Extra for a power swivel seat that turns you safely toward the landing and a linked footrest that folds with the seat in one motion.
The Savaria K2 is the brand's most affordable straight lift, with a rack-and-pinion drive, two seat styles and a fold of just under 11 inches from the wall. The K2 Plus adds a larger seat and higher capacity for heavier riders. The Handicare 1100 takes a different path: a friction drive with no gear rack, and a slide track that moves the rail clear at the bottom of the stairs.
Hillside entries, beach-house decks and garden steps. Sealed, weather-ready lifts made for San Diego's sun, salt air and winter rain.
The Bruno Elite Outdoor is built for exterior stairways, carrying riders up to 400 lb. on a weather-ready straight rail, with a curved outdoor version for stairs that turn. It shares Bruno's battery power and safety sensors, and outdoor models are backed by a limited 5-year warranty.
More ways to conquer the outdoor stairs. AccessBDD's HomeGlide Outdoor is made for year-round use on external stairways. Harmar's Summit SL350OD is the outdoor edition of the Summit straight lift, at home on porches and patio steps. And the Handicare 1000, with its closed gear rack and outdoor package for milder climates, is a natural fit for coastal San Diego.
Landings, spirals and turns. Every curved rail is custom-made to follow your exact staircase, so the ride is smooth from bottom to top.
The Bruno Elite Curved follows your staircase through every curve, landing and turn on a rail custom-made for your home. It carries up to 400 lb., runs on battery power and, indoors, carries Bruno's limited lifetime warranty. An outdoor curved version is available for exterior stairs.
Harmar's Helix rides a curved rail on a rack-and-pinion drive for a solid, stable ride. Savaria offers three curved options: the twin-rail Stairfriend 23; the Handicare 4000 with a powered seat swivel, folding footrest and folding bottom-landing rail; and the single-tube Freecurve, which handles steep staircases with ease. AccessBDD's Flow X keeps the seat level through bends and narrow turns.
Stay in your wheelchair or scooter and ride straight up. The answer for mobile homes, raised porches and decks where a ramp would be too long.
The Mac's PL-50 is the classic mobile-home porch lift: up to 50 inches of rise and 750 lb. of capacity on a 32″ × 48″ platform, or 36″ × 54″ with a 90° exit. It plugs into ordinary 110V power, and a manual crank keeps it working in an outage. Need more height? The PL-72 reaches six feet and the PL-90 reaches 90 inches.
For taller decks and second-story entries, the Harmar Highlander II carries 750 lb. on rises from 53″ to 171″, with platforms from 36″ × 48″ to 42″ × 60″, standard 120V power and an optional backup that delivers at least five full cycles in an outage. Bruno's American-made VPL also carries 750 lb., with AC or battery power and a ramp that folds as the lift rises. Savaria rounds out the lineup with the Multilift and V-1504.
